Meet The Team
Philip J. Morgan, MD
Dr. Morgan chose anesthesiology as a specialty with plans to start practice in the then-new sub-specialty of pain management.
Dr. Morgan completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California San Diego and graduated from medical school at the USC School of Medicine. He completed a surgical internship and then went on to work at the renowned Rancho Los Amigos hospital in Los Angeles, completing a fellowship in orthopedic rehabilitation. This consisted of working with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex and difficult long-term management plans for stroke, head, trauma, spinal cord injury, and other conditions associated with chronic pain and disability. He completed his anesthesiology residency at UCLA and then a pain management fellowship at UCLA.
He started Southwest Pain Management after completing his fellowship. Southwest has grown to a practice serving the greater Los Angeles area and Ventura County.
